How to offer more value to new subscribers

Creating content for your “live” programs takes a lot of time and effort.  Not only are you creating worksheets, handouts, writing the outline, the sales page and the content for the program, you also have the weekly calls that go along with these programs.  Those weekly calls, which are more than likely being recorded, will generate even more content whether you decide to have them all transcribed or not.

All in all, you have a lot of content.  It’s valuable content too.  Its valuable not only in terms of the time you put into creating it, but also valuable in terms of what your clients get out of it.

But how valuable is all that content that you generate, when once you use it for the purpose you originally created it for, if you don’t do anything else with it?

Nothing!

Sure, your clients paid you to join the program because it was valuable content and it was certainly worth what you charged, but here’s the kicker, you only got paid ONCE.

That content is like gold sitting in a vault.  Sure, it’s worth money (you spent time creating it and people paid you for it by joining your program) but what’s it doing for you now?  It isn’t making you any money now that the program is over and it’s just sitting there is it?

Here is where you can make that content work for you and have it keep making money for you.  By repurposing your programs, you can generate passive revenue and benefit over and over from the work you have already done.

Not only that, but more people can benefit from your work without YOU spending any more of your time.  I think that’s pretty cool don’t you?

It’s important to remember that your list is constantly growing.  All the new people that sign up to your list may not have known about you at the time you were offering your program or didn’t have the time to commit to it when it was being offered.  Repurposing can help you reach those people.

Sure, you probably offer two, possibly three or maybe more new programs each year.  But you are also spending time creating new content for each one, and again, just using it once.

Another thing to remember is that “live” programs are usually higher priced than home study programs.  People expect to pay more if they are working directly with you.  However, by repurposing these “live” programs, you are still able to offer a lot of value as well as your expertise.

If people have just joined your list and are still getting to “know” you, could be that they aren’t ready to spend that kind of money until they know more about you, like and trust you.  Having a product that they could purchase, that offers a lot of valuable content is a great way of getting people into your sales funnel.

Repurposing your content is a way of offering your services without offering more of your time.  Sound good?  I thought you’d like that!

It’s about leveraging your time and your expertise!

The end result is having more products to offer to your potential clients.  You don’t want them to go somewhere else to find products that they need and that will benefit them.  You already have the content, now you just have to package it into a new product.

Don’t leave all your gold sitting in the vault collecting “dust.”  Repurpose your content and have it start working for you as well as helping more people.
