A Success Formula that Works!
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach
Research on this topic also states the following components are crucial for success: 1. Access your Intuition 2. Trust your intuition 3. Communicate assertively 4. Listen well 5. Take action We are all born with intuition so a challenge may be to learn to access that and trust yourself about it!
Personal challenges often arise including negative thinking or simply not trusting "the answers" that come up for you. You may accelerate your learning curve by quieting your mind so that you "hear" or intuit right choices. Develop patience and be aware of not acting "on impulse".
Practice "saying no" to create positive space for yourself and learn how to communicate assertively (not passively or aggressively). Hone your listening skills - to others as well as yourself! And finally, take action when you know the time is right (your intuition will tell you when:)), and without procrastinating- which is always fear based and ditch perfectionism to accomplish something meaningful and "on target."
Anyone with the intention to change and succeed, with guidance can successfully SOAR! with Resilience® I can help you create success and accountability with the success challenges outlined above. Eight Steps to Setting and Achieving Goals for 2013
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachStep 1: Write down your goals. Make them specific and be sure you can measure progress toward the goal. For instance, if you want to increase your productivity at work, your goal may be to increase your sales by 10 percent from this year in 2013. Track your progress to all goals.
Step 2: Write down why you want to achieve the goal. List all the ways you will personally benefit from achieving the goal as well as any losses you will avoid.
Step 3: Determine exactly where you are now in reaching that goal. Note the strengths that will help you, the weaknesses that could hurt you, and the opportunities you can use to attain what you want.
Step 4: Write down what you will need to invest to achieve your goal. Whether it is time, money, or something else, know what reaching this goal could "cost" you.
Step 5: Determine what you need to learn in order to reach the goal. Will you need to take a course to learn a new skill? And what kind of information do you need access to?
Step 6: Identify all the people who can serve as your support group or team. This may also include organizations that can help you. Remember that asking for help is a sign of strength.
Step 7: Develop an action plan. Set timelines for achieving your short term goals. List specific dates on which you want to complete the various steps of the plan.
Step 8: Celebrate! Give yourself a reward for achieving the various steps in your action plan and a final reward for achieving the intended goal, something you can look forward to!

You Can Be Vulnerable & People Will Love You Even More
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachYou are being VULNERABLE...
When you ask for what you want...
When you
speak your truth...
When you step out of your comfort
zone...

Many of us growing up were ridiculed and judged growing up when
we revealed our true selves; it wasn't safe for many of us to be
vulnerable. Many of us developed a "protective
shielding." We learned how to always appear
together and never give "them" substantive evidence to
"attack" us with.
That same protective shielding that was so useful
when we were little can cause isolation and loneliness
now. It is necessary now as adults to be open and
reveal our truths if we want to conquer isolation and lonliness.
There must be some vulnberability present to
form deep connections.
Sometimes inner selves are only revealed with an
eruption and explosion in anger or pain. Do not wait to hit
bottom. You always have choices. Connect with
others. Be vulnerable. You
can create a shield with filters
so that you can
· Share who you really are and create authentic relationships.
· Be vulnerable from a place of power.
· Be resilient, and feel the love!
Authentic self-expression allows us to share fears and flaws without shame.
Need help forming protective filters?
Need help getting grounded in your Personal Power?
-handling rejection and judgements??
-balancing privacy and transparancy??
Do you know that EFT (Emotional Freedom
Techniques) combined with Peak Performance

How to Create Mindfulness in the Work Place You Will Love Everyone
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachMindfulness at work is ever important, especially in an environment that is mostly chaotic. We can do certain things in the workplace to wake us up, inspire us and help us get closer to the lives we want to live and the goals we want to reach, in work and in life. This holds true for employees in large companies as well as home based entrepreneurs.
How to Create Mindfulness at Work:
- Become intentionally aware of what is happening in the moment without judgment. See things as they are.
- Mindful emailing can be as simple as drafting a message, taking three mindful breaths, and then re-reading the message from the perspective of the receiver before sending.
- Before answering a phone or making a call, take a few deep breaths.
-
Before starting a meeting take three
mindful breaths or take a few minutes before the meeting to sit
with everyone and practice mindfulness meditation
together.
- Learn how to best cope with difficult colleagues by talking with an expert or attending a seminar.
- Practice basic mindfulness meditation, listening meditation and walking meditation.
- Mindfulness Moving Meditation
- Conduct internal "traffic control" throughout the day. Check in with yourself.
- Take a break when you need it.
Lifestyle Stress Statistics in the Workplace
- Workplace stress costs the nation more than $300 billion each year in health care, missed work and stress reduction efforts.
- Stress is responsible for 19 percent of employee absenteeism and 40 percent of employee turnover.
- Stress is responsible for creating 60 percent of the cost of workplace accidents.
- Research shows that 60 to 90 percent of doctor visits are stress-related.
- A landmark 20-year study conducted by the University of London concluded that unmanaged reactions to stress were a more dangerous risk factor for cancer and heart disease than either cigarette smoking or high cholesterol foods.
- 90 percent of all disease is caused or complicated by stress.

Do You Have What It Takes... to be an Entrepreneur
By Ali Rodriguez Business Coach-
Do you have what it takes to be an Entrepreneur?
To ask for help when needed? - To make quick and smart decisions on the spur of the moment?
- To invest in yourself, long-term?
- To have the courage to put yourself first?
-
To TRUST that everything will be okay?
I know these are loaded questions, but just like the elephant in the room, they need to be addressed.
There are times when internal fortitude is needed, and it happens when needing to ask for help, needing to make quick decisions, putting you first, and “trusting” that everything will work out at the end. They sound simple enough; however, they can be monumental steps when you don’t know what to do or how to do it.
The good news is, the more you practice, the easier it gets, until it becomes second hand.
There is one thing, though, intrinsically connected to this process of practice, is your willingness to have a higher sense of self-awareness to all that is happening to you. In other words, acknowledge the Elephant in the Room.
The second thing is
having a grateful heart for all the
lessons learned, all of what you have, and all of what’s yet to
come.
Do You
Have What It Takes... to be an Entrepreneur
Consider:
- Do you ask for help in a direct and straight-forward manner or do you try to exaggerate the story to make it even more compelling and delicious?
- Are you quick on your feet to make important decisions, or do you second-guess yourself constantly? And, do you allow self-doubt to play a role in your decision-making process?
- When you think of long-term investments, financial or otherwise, do you consider yourself first? Or do others play a more important role in making those future provisions?
- Do you make a conscious decision to put yourself first, above anyone else, or is that difficult for you to do?
- Do you have what it takes to TRUST in something higher and bigger than yourself that everything will be okay?
Options You For Having What it Takes to be an Entrepreneur:
- On a scale of 1 to 10, rate your level of difficulties to accomplish the above-named tasks. In fact, print out this page, and start rating; 1 being the least difficult, 10 being the most difficult.
- Anything in between, rate it at average and on each of your answers explain to yourself why the levels are what they are.
- This exercise will give you a great deal of clarity moving forward and it will help you improve performance where needed.
- To achieve desired results, understand your willingness to change, and your willingness to embrace change. This is very important.
Do You Have What It Takes... to be an Entrepreneur Action Plan :
Some of these activities will be more difficult than others, and they will be at different levels. Some of them may even be painful, especially if they’ve never been addressed before.
Your job is to identify, clarify, transform, and ALIGN THEM! There has to be a balance and correlation of thought, speech, and vibrational feelings, with well coordinated actions to fit the ultimate results. All talk and no action equals nothing. Just like knowledge, if you don’t apply it, you will get no results.
- Know who to ask for guidance, direction and advice.
- Tell your story from a matter-of-fact place, rather than a victim’s place. However, it’s important to tell your story. Do NOT hold back.
- Remember a victim’s mindset attracts poverty, lack and scarcity, while a decisive, self-confident mindset, attracts more of the same. Do not let the shadows of Self-Doubt cloud your judgment, imagination, and your ability to decide. It is always wise to have an accountability partner to stand with you and by you in times of uncertainty and need.
- Decide to put yourself first. Though tricky and difficult for some, if not you, who?….and if not now, when? It becomes a matter of practicing extreme self-care and self-love when you make such conscious decision and raise your level of awareness that whatever you do matters, at a very high level. Anything else you may tell yourself is an excuse to either avoid something, or make someone else feel good about who they are. So you see, YOU must consider yourself first. You are the FOUNDATION, what would happen without it?
- Lastly, and this is a biggie, TRUST that everything will work out for the best at the end. It is very hard to let go and trust; however, this is your place of peace, and where you attain your highest sense of SELF. With such heightened sense of clarity comes the ability to make better decisions, to find those that can effectively help you, the ability for deeper self-love and care, and a much higher sense of self-confidence and self-worth.
Assess
the “do you have what it takes”, dig into your “considerations”,
exercise your “options,” and finally, TAKE ACTION towards a
better business, a better life, and a better YOU.

The Entrepreneurs Survival Kit How to Handle the Isolation
By Ali Rodriguez Business Coach
Having a home-based business has tremendous
perks. You are in charge of your own time,
activities, projects, tasks, delegation, and you don’t have to
drive much to see clients or meet with vendors. However,
one of the down sides is that if you are not circulating and
networking in your community, and brainstorming on-line with
staff and colleagues, it can be highly isolating.
This can get you in trouble at times. I know it has me. Why? Mainly because there’s no one around to call your bluff.
There is no one to hold you accountable to follow a disciplined regime of marketing, sales, systems and projects, not to mention the all important Personal Development process, which is always “on-going.”
It is hard to stick to a calendar when you feel you can do as you please, and you always have “later” or worse yet, “tomorrow.” Besides, ONE truly is a lonely number.
What to do when you’re getting into isolation?
First, recognize the symptoms!
Consider:
• Are you postponing important tasks?
• Do you tend to start with the easy stuff first?
• Are you ignoring your calendar?
• Are you only doing what is absolutely necessary?
• Are you neglecting important conversations or even
correspondences with important people in your life?
• Are you feeling less energetic than usual?
• Is your passion-light flickering at times?
• Are certain tasks that used to be joyful getting to be a
drag?
• Do you find it difficult to go out and mingle at social
networking events?
All these are symptoms of isolation and depression, or both simultaneously. One can lead to the other, and your job is to find a way to get back on track, whatever that might be for you. If depression, see a doctor, if isolation…..keep on reading.
Granted, there are things that we all have to do that are not as much fun as others, however, they have to be done. And…with a song in your heart and a spring in your step, you can do them in JOY rather than in drag.
Options:
• Make a list of trusted friends and colleagues.
• Reach out to them.
• Find the courage to do so; it may be difficult in some
cases.
• Share with them the issues you are having and ask for
feedback.
• Remember, this is all about accountability, but also about
reaching out and asking for help; which may not come natural to
you at this time.
• Think that you are giving them an opportunity to help you
and this may literally “Make their day.”
• Be clear in your request and ask for guidance.
• Let nature take its course.
Action Plan:
• Be prepared to listen very careful to what they have to
say.
• Discern what feels best to you.
• Make a list of all the suggestions so that you can create
your own mini-action plan to get you out of isolation and back on
track of your chosen path.
• Be extremely grateful for all of what you have.
• Be extremely grateful for all of who you are.
• Be extremely grateful that you have these amazing people
in your live, even if some of them are at a distance.
• Start your day by saying “Thank You” to your God or the
Universe, and your heart will feel lighter and things will begin
to turn around.
• Practice the courage to ask for what you want.
• Don’t be afraid of making mistakes.
• Join a Mastermind Group.
• Get yourself an accountability buddy or coach to help you
stretch your imagination, creativity and way of thinking.
It’s hard to think bigger, when you are in such a place of
isolation, and yes, I know this from very personal experiences.
Assess your symptoms, know your options, take action, and ask for help. “Reach out….someone will always answer!”

EFT is like yoga for the emotions!
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach
EFT is always blowing my mind. 'Cause it
always works!!
I was skeptical before I learned it- and am amazed at how
powerfully effective it is with each personal or client
application to release negative energy and create new positive
emotions that result in action around issues that have been
"stuck". I can do "surrogate tapping" with you on the
phone - or without you at all- like "long distance Reiki",
etc. Just ask :) EFT is like yoga for the
emotions! It involves you gently tapping on stress relief
points of the body while I implement powerful
language. It provides relief from physical and
emotional pain, and any trauma or beliefs that have been blocking
your truth. Do you feel the weight of all the 'shoulds' on
your shoulders? Do you sometimes wish, 'If only I could be who I
really am?' If you would like to access your own guidance and
wisdom instead of seeking truth about yourself from other people
or sources, you can learn to use Emotional Freedom Techniques
(EFT) to help dissolve whatever is in the way.
When you are ready for
action and a
circumstance occurs so that you experience confusion or fear what
do you do? Freeze..nothing probably, that's human nature.
Even though it may be the polarity of what you want to do when
you are ready for action, this is prime time to take stock and do
inner work in order to move past blocks and make fabulous, free
feeling progress.
Writer's block, for instance, is often a matter
of too much distraction. Perhaps it's about needing fresh
ideas, or being "sure of yourself", confident that what you write
will resonate with your readers. Procrastination is always
fear based. Before you can move forward, it's important to
know which kind(s) of fear you're facing- that's the intitial
inner work- is it fear of failure, being judged, fear of success
(yes, success can take you to new scary places..) or of being
controlled.
Once you've gotten the "fear factor" figured
out, sometimes with assistance of a coach, then it's
time to have a few guided EFT sessions. My facilitation of
The EFT Technique has been 100% effective in my four years as an
EFT-ADV practitioner combining the EFT
Technique with Peak Performance Success Coaching. This
includes conquering fear of public speaking, which is the number
one fear in our society. phobias and procrastination.
Immediately following an EFT session using Gary Craig's
short EFT Technique form, I facilitate a deep guided
relaxation-visualization session to reinforce the tapping,
intuitive coach-like language and positive emotional transitions
that have occurred.

EFT HAS ACHIEVED AN "EVIDENCE BASED" STATUS, BUT IS YET TO BE APPROVED BY THE APA |
|
|
What I learned from colleagues is that while the APA does recognize that EFT is evidence based (after their review of 50 research studies)they are still looking at it before rendering any definitive decision on whether they will actually accept it. In the meanwhile, they do not give credit to any psychologists who seek continuing education credits for taking courses in it. I actually believe this is a good thing for now, since they might otherwise try to regulate it and retain it just for psychologists, when it was intended to be a lay technique used by everyone. |

Can You Change The Worst Habits?
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach
The good news is that research has been documenting
that anyone who has a strong intention to change a habit
or create a new behavioral pattern can do it (short of big
physiological challenges such as addictions).
It takes at least 21 days of repetition with no backslide.
If one backslides, then starting from day one is indicated.
So with the above as a premise then coaching becomes even more positive for the coachee! This is what happens:
- When someone contacts me for a consult for stress-anger management coaching and sounds motivated (vs. depressed; keep in mind I'm talking about coaching, not therapy) then I am happy to share this research and they are happy get started.
- Each aha, each positive action becomes part of the bigger success plan.
- The accountability is both to themselves and to me. The progress begins with the first conversation when there is motivation involved.
- When the goals have been reached, the coachee is encouraged too indulge in healthy celebration!
- Stay in communication for open ended follow up.

Aura Sheilding and Light & Love Emittance
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachThis is always a powerful practice to set up for yourself, especially while traveling, which I've been doing a lot of recently. This is the how and what:
- Center and ground yourself in a quiet place without
distractions. I find "The Mountain Meditation" via Dr. Jon
Kabat Zinn, "Wherever You Go, There You Are" to be excellent for
this purpose:
http://www.amazon.com/Wherever-You-There-Are-Mindfulness/dp/1562827693 - Visualize a white - lavender aura surrounding your body reaching out at least as far around and up as arm's distance.
- Visualize a stream of light entering your aura from Source above and streaming down into the Earth.
- Affirm your energetic shield of protection is with you wherever you go and that you have the ability to renew it whever you choose.
- Affirm your power to send light-love to whomever comes your way.
- Keep smiling and enjoy!

How to Improve Your Life With A Prosperity Mindset
By Lisa Clement- Certified Coach TrainerIt's simple, if you have a prosperity mindset you know that each
day requires you to take action.
Here are other ways:
Study the Way Successful People Act Try to learn
by example. If you admire someone successful then do
what they do. Learn by example. Reach out to those that you admire. It may come
as a surprise but people love to know when they move people and
inspire them.
Setting
Goals
Dreaming and affirming will not take the place of setting a goal.
How will you get there? Think about it, write it down. Set
realistic, achievable goals. Stick to it.
Never
Give Up
Realize that even the most successful people have had
failures
and times when they wanted to give up just like you and I!
Constantly have an image in mind of your goal, paste it up on your
wall at home, or near where you are all day! Remind yourself and
revel in it! Act like it has already happened!
Hire A
Coach
Everyone defines prosperity differently.
It would do you well to speak with a coach if you are questioning
your beliefs or you are not sure you can adopt this mindset on your
own. A coach can break it down for you to look at in a more
clear way and make a plan for your journey.
