How to offer more value to new subscribers
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist.Creating content for your “live” programs takes a lot of time and effort. Not only are you creating worksheets, handouts, writing the outline, the sales page and the content for the program, you also have the weekly calls that go along with these programs. Those weekly calls, which are more than likely being recorded, will generate even more content whether you decide to have them all transcribed or not.
All in all, you have a lot of content. It’s valuable content too. Its valuable not only in terms of the time you put into creating it, but also valuable in terms of what your clients get out of it.
But how valuable is all that content that you generate, when once you use it for the purpose you originally created it for, if you don’t do anything else with it?
Nothing!
Sure, your clients paid you to join the program because it was valuable content and it was certainly worth what you charged, but here’s the kicker, you only got paid ONCE.
That content is like gold sitting in a vault. Sure, it’s worth money (you spent time creating it and people paid you for it by joining your program) but what’s it doing for you now? It isn’t making you any money now that the program is over and it’s just sitting there is it?
Here is where you can make that content work for you and have it keep making money for you. By repurposing your programs, you can generate passive revenue and benefit over and over from the work you have already done.
Not only that, but more people can benefit from your work without YOU spending any more of your time. I think that’s pretty cool don’t you?
It’s important to remember that your list is constantly growing. All the new people that sign up to your list may not have known about you at the time you were offering your program or didn’t have the time to commit to it when it was being offered. Repurposing can help you reach those people.
Sure, you probably offer two, possibly three or maybe more new programs each year. But you are also spending time creating new content for each one, and again, just using it once.
Another thing to remember is that “live” programs are usually higher priced than home study programs. People expect to pay more if they are working directly with you. However, by repurposing these “live” programs, you are still able to offer a lot of value as well as your expertise.
If people have just joined your list and are still getting to “know” you, could be that they aren’t ready to spend that kind of money until they know more about you, like and trust you. Having a product that they could purchase, that offers a lot of valuable content is a great way of getting people into your sales funnel.
Repurposing your content is a way of offering your services without offering more of your time. Sound good? I thought you’d like that!
It’s about leveraging your time and your expertise!
The end result is having more products to offer to your potential clients. You don’t want them to go somewhere else to find products that they need and that will benefit them. You already have the content, now you just have to package it into a new product.
Don’t leave all your gold sitting in the vault collecting “dust.” Repurpose your content and have it start working for you as well as helping more people.
6 Ways to Generate Passive Income by Repurposing Your Content
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist. There are lots of ways to repurpose your content to get more exposure for your business, generate more traffic and build your list but, you can also use it to generate passive income as well.
Think about all the content you have, content you aren’t utilizing that could be repurposed.
The key to building your online business is getting your message out in front of as many people as possible. But that’s not going to happen if you are creating content and only using it once or not repurposing into other formats.
This is the Internet! It’s multi-media! It’s dynamic! It’s powerful! It’s versatile!
Where are you?
People expect and look for content that is in the format that they want. If they don’t find it on your site, they’ll go somewhere else. You don’t want to be losing business, especially now with over 1 billion people online, 24/7, selling your products has never been easier.
So you need to be able to give people what they want, and the way they want it.
Here are 6 ways you can repurpose your content and generate passive income:
1. Repurpose your articles and blogs, edit, add a cover page, a TOC, a call to action and create an ebook. You can record it as audio, offer each product separately, or upsell by offering both at a discount. You can also use your ebook to promote other products or programs with links to a new program in your call to action. The great thing about ebooks is that you can change your call to action to promote any new product or program you are offering at that time.
2. If you have a program that you are no longer running, repurpose it. You already have all the content. Take the worksheets, exercises, the outline and the calls (have them transcribed or offer as an MP3, or both) and create a new product that you can offer as a self study program.
3. Every informational teleseminar is a new product. Repurpose it by having it transcribed. You can create an ebook by having it edited and formatted. Add a cover, a TOC and a call to action. Use it as a bonus for people who sign up for your programs.
4. Create a workshop or online course from your teleseminars.
5. Repurpose audio and video. If you have a series of audio or video, create an ecourse.
6. Create an audio or video training series from your programs or ebooks.
These are just some of the ways that you can repurpose your content. Offering products in various formats can help you get your message out in front of more people, build your list and generate passive income.

Standing Above the Crowd. Boosting Your Expert Status
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist.Boosting your credibility and your expert status is absolutely critical if you want to attract more clients, opportunities and money. You can’t run with the big dogs if you play with the puppies.
In order to boost your expert status, the first and most important thing is to increase your visibility. You can have the greatest product or service since sliced bread, but if no one knows about your or your business, it doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference.
So how do you get more visibility?
First of all, people have to know that you even exist. How do you do that?
Writing articles and blogs are a great way to share your knowledge and get you more exposure. By submitting your articles to various directories and doing it on a consistent basis can give you expert status on their site. It also get’s your information out in front of a larger audience than just on your own blog. For example, EzineArticles.com gets about 50 million unique visitors each month. That is some serious traffic. But if that’s all you are doing, you are missing out on an even bigger piece of the pie.
People that go to blog sites enjoy “reading” content, that’s their preference, to read. But what about people that either don’t like to read or have a hard time grasping concepts by reading? They certainly aren’t going to these sites.
So how can you reach an even larger audience? Here are just 2 ways you can do that:
1. Repurpose your articles to audio. You can submit podcasts to iTunes or other sites or offer it as an MP3. People are on the go and if they can download it to their iPod or any other device, they can listen to it in their car, working out at the gym or while going for a walk. There are lots of reasons people like audio but for some, they grasp the content much easier than reading.
2. Repurpose your articles to video. You can submit your video to YouTube or any of the other video distribution sites as well as iTunes. YouTube exceeds 4 billion views a day which is nearly double the prime-time audience of all 3 major U.S. broadcast networks combined.
This is not only a matter of getting your content in front of as many people as possible, it’s also about giving people information in the format that they prefer. That’s the great thing about the internet; you can create and repurpose your content in so many different ways.
You need to realize that when you create one piece of content, it is not just limited to what you created it for. Think about how you can get the most mileage out of everything you do.
By generating and sharing a lot of content in your area of expertise, the more visible you become. Becoming more visible generates more opportunities, more clients and more money.
By repurposing your content in various formats, you are leveraging your time and expertise. Experts are out there, front and center, sharing their knowledge because they know that the more they share, the more they are going to get back.
They also understand that by giving away valuable information gives them the credibility that they are the expert. They know what they are talking about. They aren’t afraid to share their knowledge.
So how do you see yourself? Are you the expert in your niche? What are you doing to build your credibility and reputation?

Quick Tips for Repurposing Your Content
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist. If you generate content on a daily or weekly basis, it can be quite time consuming, especially if you are only creating it for one purpose and in only one format. If you are writing blog or an article for your ezine, and not using that content anywhere else, you aren’t leveraging your content or your expertise.
As a business owner, you are busy enough trying to get everything you need to do to run a successful business, so do you really want to be spending all that time coming up with new content for everything you do? Wouldn’t you rather create one and maximize it as much as possible?
It’s time to leverage your time and your expertise.
How can you do that? You can do that by repurposing your content into different formats. This is how to get your information out in front of a larger audience, build your list and your reputation.
We all know that the more content you get out, the more visibility you get and the more you will be perceived as the expert in your niche.
Here are some quick tips to help you repurpose your content:
1. Ebooks / Special Reports. You can get some great articles and/or blogs out of these. If you have chapters or sections, you can use these as your starting point to write new ones. Create a new title, add headings, subheadings, bullet points and post. Don’t forget to submit to directories.
2. Switch it around. Have blogs or articles on related topics? Put them together and create an ebook or create a great new opt-in for your website. Add a cover page, table of contents and a call to action.
3. Audio / Video. Transcribe any audio or video that you have. This is a lot of content you can use. You can repurpose a teleseminar at least 10 different ways.
4. Change the format. Have a blog? Record it and post the audio. Submit to other sites. Record as a video and post to YouTube.
5. Programs. You can repurpose programs you have already run to generate passive revenue. Use the handouts, worksheets and outlines to create a new product. Transcribe the audio if you had weekly calls and include as well.
6. Blogs and articles. Create audios or podcasts and have them available to download or submit to various sites including iTunes.
7. Create video. Create a video of your blogs and articles. If you have a series of blogs, create a video series. Upload to YouTube.
These are only some of the ways that you can repurpose your content.
Every time you create something new, always think about other ways that you can repurpose so that you can leverage your time and expertise and get in front of a larger audience.
It’s all about working smarter, not harder.

How to Boost Your Online Visibility and Create Valuable Repurposed Content
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist.
You Aren’t Just Another
Face in the Crowd. You’re an Expert in Your
Field.
Are you ready to boost your online visibility and reach a larger audience? Repurposing your content will help you do that.
Repurposing content is nothing new. You probably already do it to some extent and may not even realize it, or then again, maybe you do. Maybe you’ve used some content from your ebooks or teleseminars to write new blogs or articles. Maybe you’ve used your blogs or articles for your teleseminar outline or created a program or product using some of your existing content.
The great thing about repurposing your content is that you aren’t starting from scratch which can certainly save you a lot of time.
In order to boost your online visibility and reach a larger audience, you need to get your message out in front of as many people as you can. That doesn’t mean that you have to pump out a ton of content daily, because really, who the heck has time for that? It’s all about leveraging your time and expertise.
Can you imagine if you wrote a new blog 3 times a week, then wrote completely different content for your video posts twice a week and then wrote content for an audio that you post once a week? That’s a lot of content you are creating and in just one week. That’s not even content for products and programs and teleseminars, etc., etc.
If you are creating good, valuable content on a daily or weekly basis and sharing it only in text form, you are missing out on a huge audience.
Here are 3 simple ways to get the biggest impact with your content:
-
Record your blog posts as
podcasts. Over 27 million people listen to podcasts so
that’s a great number to get your content out in front
of.
-
Record your blogs and
articles as video and post to YouTube. Over 1 billion
videos are streaming daily. You can also record your
blogs and articles as audio and give people the option of
reading or listening. If you record as an MP3, they can
download and listen at their leisure, while they are driving,
working out or, (okay I’m just going to come out and say it)
while they are cleaning the house! I don’t know if people
really do that, I know I don’t but hey, whatever works for
you.
-
Record your ebook or your
opt-in as a MP3 and give the option of getting it as text or
audio.
You can also have all your audio and video transcribed and repurpose into blogs, articles for your ezine or submit to online directories. This includes audio from teleseminars, workshops or events.
Remember, not all people like to read and not everyone likes or wants to listen to audio or watch videos. By having various formats available, you are able to reach a larger audience as well as giving them your products in the format they want and prefer, because that is how they learn.
Now, that’s not to say that people don’t buy the same products in different formats. If you have an audio from a call, have it transcribed and bundle the transcript and the audio as a package. You can also offer each separately and upsell the other at a discounted price if they buy both. Either way, you aren’t leaving any money on the table.
In order to boost your visibility, you have to get your content out in front of as many people as you can and on a consistent basis. By writing one blog and then repurposing to audio or video can save you time and reach more people.
I know there are other things that you would rather be doing than trying to come up with more content from scratch for everything you do. Repurposing is working smarter not harder.
In the end, it’s about getting more out of your existing content than writing it for one purpose and then forgetting about it. It’s about getting it out in as many different formats to as many people as you can, on a consistent basis.

Constantly Creating New Content? Repurpose It
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist. If you are constantly creating new content for your business, you are sitting on a goldmine that you can leverage to not only reach more people but also generate passive income.
If you are like
most online business owners, you spend a lot of time writing
blogs, articles, ecourses, ebooks, copy for your teleseminars,
products and programs, etc. In other words, you are
generating tons of content that you could use in so many
different ways and leverage not only your time but your
expertise.
Sometimes, it’s hard to see other possibilities for your content when you are writing it for a specific reason and you are so close to it. I know, if you could just wave your magic wand, it would all appear right?
It’s like hiring a VA to put together and send out your weekly ezine because that’s what you need to accomplish right now. You may not realize that they can also manage your shopping cart, send out emails and manage your list and a ton of other ideas unless they tell you what they can do.
It’s about leveraging your time to do what you do best. It’s also about leveraging your expertise.
I was speaking with a colleague recently and we were discussing what was “new” in our businesses. She went on to tell me about a new program she was getting ready to launch. She had spent the past couple of weeks putting it together, writing the copy for the handouts, the outline for the weekly calls as well as the worksheets, the sales pages and the content she would be teaching. She was also writing tweets, Facebook posts and emails to promote it.
This certainly isn’t her first program, she runs 2 or 3 a year just like most online business owners. That’s a lot of content she creates and once the program is done in 12 weeks, there will be even more content with the audio and transcripts from the weekly calls.
I asked her what she did with all of the content she created once the program was over and she said what I hear a lot of business owners say: Nothing.
It seems the whole purpose in creating all that content is for the program it was intended for and nothing else. That is a goldmine you are sitting on that isn’t being utilized.
Programs can easily be repurposed in various ways and formats allowing you to reach a larger audience while also helping to generate passive revenue, but you may not be able to “see” what else you can do with it.
Here are just a few ways to repurpose your programs:
- Have the audios from the calls transcribed, edited, formatted and offer each one as a ecourse.
- Use the transcripts to create blogs and articles.
- Use the outline from the calls, worksheets and handouts as a mini course.
- Create an ebook
- Edit the transcripts from the calls, add the handouts and worksheets and create a new product. Check out 10 ways to repurpose your motherlode (yep, that’s what your teleseminar is)
All of that time and effort you spent creating and writing each one of your programs can be leveraged by repurposing your content. There are so many ways that you can repurpose the same material and information and by repurposing content in different formats, it can help you reach an even larger audience.
If you aren’t repurposing your content, you aren’t getting your message in front of more people and you are leaving money on the table.
Take a look through the content you have created and see what you can repurpose.
If you still need help with how to put this all together, or to customize your products for your business, I’m always available to chat. You are more than welcome to give me a buzz and I can certainly help you with ideas on how to repurpose your programs or any other content that you have.
