You Can Be Vulnerable & People Will Love You Even More
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachYou are being VULNERABLE...
When you ask for what you want...
When you
speak your truth...
When you step out of your comfort
zone...

Many of us growing up were ridiculed and judged growing up when
we revealed our true selves; it wasn't safe for many of us to be
vulnerable. Many of us developed a "protective
shielding." We learned how to always appear
together and never give "them" substantive evidence to
"attack" us with.
That same protective shielding that was so useful
when we were little can cause isolation and loneliness
now. It is necessary now as adults to be open and
reveal our truths if we want to conquer isolation and lonliness.
There must be some vulnberability present to
form deep connections.
Sometimes inner selves are only revealed with an
eruption and explosion in anger or pain. Do not wait to hit
bottom. You always have choices. Connect with
others. Be vulnerable. You
can create a shield with filters
so that you can
· Share who you really are and create authentic relationships.
· Be vulnerable from a place of power.
· Be resilient, and feel the love!
Authentic self-expression allows us to share fears and flaws without shame.
Need help forming protective filters?
Need help getting grounded in your Personal Power?
-handling rejection and judgements??
-balancing privacy and transparancy??
Do you know that EFT (Emotional Freedom
Techniques) combined with Peak Performance
Success Coaching can help with all of these
challenges?

How to Use the Zen Way of Life for Creating Peace in Your Business
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachThe Zen Way of Life can be used for business with Mind Blowing Results.

"A journey of a thousand miles begins
with one small step"
(Chinese Proverb)
It’s the getting started
– the first small step that often seems
insurmountable. Getting
started can be tough. The good news is
that when you do get started, things can roll along!
There may be a few bumps in the road on the way to your goal, and
that’s why it’s important not to take that personally (be
obective as possible), detached from outcome (in the Zen
tradition) and stay positive.
If you find yourself on the couch, perhaps the first small
step is rolling over onto the floor – and if you have a pet
getting some love there… smiling, laughing and feeling gratitude
about whomever and whatever is happening well in your
life.
It’s really important to be certain that a goal is
something you really want- not just something that sounds
good. Take all aspects of a situation into
consideration, this helps to prevent self-sabotage.
Having a realistic goal with a realistic time frame is important
within a bigger picture. These are the “R” and “T” in
SMART Goals.
Specific The goal should identify a specific action or event that will take place.
Measurable The goal and its benefits should be quantifiable.
Achievable The goal should be attainable given available resources.
Realistic The goal should require you to stretch some and point towards success.
Timely The goal should state the time period in which it will be accomplished
Write your goal in positive
language. The more positive instructions you give
yourself, the more positive results you get!
Here are a few more strategies for goal manifestation:
- Review and re-prioritize your goals frequently.
- Throughout the day ask yourself “does this take me closer or further from my goals(s)?”
- Give yourself permission to change your mind.
- Pay attention to your body, feelings, thoughts and
intuitive self!
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) can help remove blocks, release frustrations and negative energy and set you into positive action.

10 Tips to Get Out of Your Own Way and Be Fearless!
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach
Worrying takes an enormous amount of time and energy and stats show that a tiny percentage of what we considier worrisome never happens.
2. Let go of perfectionism, take action and manifest!
Give yourself permission to take action and begin a project beforte all the "kinks" are straightened out, as long as you are following a "strategic" plan.
3. Examine anything you are procrastinating about to see if it's worthwhile to pursue.
If it is and you need to get past a few blocks, learn EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) a sure procrastination eradicator!
4. Listen to your intuition.
Always! Pay attention to your physical and emotional cues!
5. Be a great listener!
Listening well has a few great benefits: Listen well and your response will be more on target.
6. You always have a choice!
Give yourself a few minutes in the morning to visualize success.
Before "popping" out of bed, visualize your day happening including what you are wearing and how conversations unfold. If it is not a happy-productive scenario, when possible eliminate it.
7. Take frequent breaks
Throughout the day, leave the scene of work. Go outside if possible, stretch and walk.
8. Be grateful!
It's been going around that this is the only way to be if you want to have peace of mind. To further gratefulness along, write three things/people you are grateful for each day, adding to the list you have created. When you walk, you can use these as a "mantra". Post them on post-its on your mirror and on the car dashboard. Witness the magic happen :).
9. Take time each day to relax and dream.
Practice yoga and/or meditation or simply do some relaxation breathing in a peaceful spot.
10. Surround yourself with positive people.

Move Towards Your Inner Power & Walk Through Your Shadows
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach1. Take baby steps toward your fear. You don't need to go on a parachute or to the edge of The grand Canyon the first day--just go on top of a small hill (or a glass elevator) and look down. You don't need to write the entire book this weekend--just take some time to make an outline.
2. Learn tools or processes that can help you
dissolve your fear. There are many
"shortcuts" out there-techniques that are effective at
dissipating the fear on a deep level. One of
my favorites is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known
as Tapping-see how to do that here:
-
Here's a global fears top ten:
1. Fear of public speaking (Glossophobia)
2. Fear of death (Necrophobia)
3. Fear of spiders (Arachnophobia)
4. Fear of darkness (Achluophobia)
5. Fear of heights (Acrophobia)
6. Fear of people or social situations (Sociophobia)
7. Fear of flying (Aerophobia)
8. Fear of open spaces (Agoraphobia)
9. Fear of thunder and lightning (Brontophobia)
10. Fear of confined spaces (Claustrophobia
Typically, EFT is facilitated with a practitioner for several sessions, while the individual is tapping on their own every day. EFT is especially effective when integrated with peak performance success coaching.
Clients are successfully guided to release fear and completely reverse phobias after only few sessions!

3. Make a commitment to yourself to keep moving toward that fear until you're on the other side. Find a buddy and/or a coach to help support you. Tell your buddy what your commitment is and ask him or her to stick by you through your process.

Can You Change The Worst Habits?
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach
The good news is that research has been documenting
that anyone who has a strong intention to change a habit
or create a new behavioral pattern can do it (short of big
physiological challenges such as addictions).
It takes at least 21 days of repetition with no backslide.
If one backslides, then starting from day one is indicated.
So with the above as a premise then coaching becomes even more positive for the coachee! This is what happens:
- When someone contacts me for a consult for stress-anger management coaching and sounds motivated (vs. depressed; keep in mind I'm talking about coaching, not therapy) then I am happy to share this research and they are happy get started.
- Each aha, each positive action becomes part of the bigger success plan.
- The accountability is both to themselves and to me. The progress begins with the first conversation when there is motivation involved.
- When the goals have been reached, the coachee is encouraged too indulge in healthy celebration!
- Stay in communication for open ended follow up.

Aura Sheilding and Light & Love Emittance
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachThis is always a powerful practice to set up for yourself, especially while traveling, which I've been doing a lot of recently. This is the how and what:
- Center and ground yourself in a quiet place without
distractions. I find "The Mountain Meditation" via Dr. Jon
Kabat Zinn, "Wherever You Go, There You Are" to be excellent for
this purpose:
http://www.amazon.com/Wherever-You-There-Are-Mindfulness/dp/1562827693 - Visualize a white - lavender aura surrounding your body reaching out at least as far around and up as arm's distance.
- Visualize a stream of light entering your aura from Source above and streaming down into the Earth.
- Affirm your energetic shield of protection is with you wherever you go and that you have the ability to renew it whever you choose.
- Affirm your power to send light-love to whomever comes your way.
- Keep smiling and enjoy!

How to find your TRUE Bestfriend in Life.
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachWe carry within us everything we need to know to make progress on our paths to self-realization. You are the one: The outer world serves as a mirror. All we need to do to see that we already have everything we need is to let go of our belief that we need to seek in order to find.
Most of us know that getting what we want only makes us happy for a moment... We do not have to travel to find it or imagine that it resides only in the body of another. In fact, what the best teachers will do is point out that this very precious elixir is something we already possess.
We can turn to ourselves when we find ourselves on
our path, not knowing which way to turn and wishing for guidance.
When we simply ask, let go, and wait
patiently, an answer will come.
The more we practice this and trust this process, the less we
will look outside ourselves for teachers and guides for we will
have successfully become our own. Trusting yourself,
trusting your intuition paves the way for a life of fearlessness
and success.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
is a magnificant tool to overcome fear about almost anything
including fear of self trust which is often veiled as fear of
trusting another (the mirror effect) , perhaps fear of intimacy.

How do You Know if You Feel Fear or is it Your Intuition?
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach
I am very intuitive as are many of you
reading this article. When I experience the
"chills-tingles" and a feeling that rings true I know it's my
intuition- or that something is true...no matter
what.

Today a coaching client revealed to me in
the first three minutes that she is "very intuitive"
was wondering if her feelings and actions were perhaps
fear based; was it fear or intuition that was leading
her to feel "compelled" to take some actions that she was not
happy about, that she was seeing me today to gain greater insight
into and understand if it was fear or intuition that was leading
her.
This evening, no coincidence that nothing was "on demand"
TV that I was interested in, so I picked up a professional
journal that was on my coffee table all week - "Choice the
magazine of professional coaching" ; this issue focusing
on "Intuition & Coaching". One of the many
interesting articles written by colleagues pertains to
the fear or intuition question.
Now, back to my client. After discussing her issues
and challenges, we decided to "tap" (EFT-
Emotional Freedom Techniques) on the issue of
feeling compelled to do something that she admittedly felt shame
about - that was clearly giving her anxiety
attacks.
When we began, her feeling of distress about this was 10
on a scale of 1-10. After several rounds of
tapping she was down to 5, and saying she was feeling more at
ease, relaxed.
In the process, a few core issues revealed themselves -
revelations to her and more material for us to work on in 2012.
In the process, I also gave her three medical referrals to
holistic doctors. I used my intuition in facilitating EFT
and it guided all my statements and questions, which gave me a
greater insight into what my client truly needed.
This of course gave my client a deeper level of understanding and
clarity as well, because I tuned into her through my
intuition and not the analytical side of my
brain.
Intuition is always the winner - follow your gut - no matter what - trust yourself, honor your true feelings (emotional and physical) and act on them.
If you need help uncovering your true feelings and direction, I'm available for a complimentary consult via phone or skype.
