10 Tips to Get Out of Your Own Way and Be Fearless!
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach
Worrying takes an enormous amount of time and energy and stats show that a tiny percentage of what we considier worrisome never happens.
2. Let go of perfectionism, take action and manifest!
Give yourself permission to take action and begin a project beforte all the "kinks" are straightened out, as long as you are following a "strategic" plan.
3. Examine anything you are procrastinating about to see if it's worthwhile to pursue.
If it is and you need to get past a few blocks, learn EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) a sure procrastination eradicator!
4. Listen to your intuition.
Always! Pay attention to your physical and emotional cues!
5. Be a great listener!
Listening well has a few great benefits: Listen well and your response will be more on target.
6. You always have a choice!
Give yourself a few minutes in the morning to visualize success.
Before "popping" out of bed, visualize your day happening including what you are wearing and how conversations unfold. If it is not a happy-productive scenario, when possible eliminate it.
7. Take frequent breaks
Throughout the day, leave the scene of work. Go outside if possible, stretch and walk.
8. Be grateful!
It's been going around that this is the only way to be if you want to have peace of mind. To further gratefulness along, write three things/people you are grateful for each day, adding to the list you have created. When you walk, you can use these as a "mantra". Post them on post-its on your mirror and on the car dashboard. Witness the magic happen :).
9. Take time each day to relax and dream.
Practice yoga and/or meditation or simply do some relaxation breathing in a peaceful spot.
10. Surround yourself with positive people.

The Secret to the Power of Networking On Social Media
By Elizabeth Maness- Social Media Diva
Here's Our Little Secret
Everything that we have accomplished at Assist Social Media was birthed from the power of networking. Networking through twitter to be exact. Angela and I first met on twitter and grew an awesome relationship and successful business while living hundreds of miles from each other. Now if that isn't power, I don't know what is.
The Importance Of Being Present (At Least Somewhat)
Automation is great, and it is definitely needed in social media. There is just too much to do, and too many networks. What I want you to get, I mean really get, is that you being present on your social networks and actively interacting with your followers/fans cannot be substituted. Don't think that just because someone is handling your social media that you can't get in there and network. In fact, you have an even greater opportunity to get in there and do some effective networking.
So What Is Networking Exactly?
Imagine yourself at a cocktail party. You are moving around the room, meeting different people from all walks of life, making small talk, learning more and more about them, and connecting with them. The most important part of networking is to always remember that at the root of it all is RELATIONSHIPS. Not sales, not thinking about what you can get out of the interaction, just relationships. If you go into networking with a closed mind or with only sales in mind, then you will miss out on the greater benefits that it can offer.
Some Cool Ways To Network
Facebook Groups- One of my favorites. Use Facebook search to find groups relevant to your industry, then interact within them. You already know that the people in them have similar interest. Jump in and start the conversation. You can also start your own group.
LinkedIn Groups- Same concept as Facebook groups, just on LinkedIn
Twitter- by far, my favorite. It is so
easy on Twitter to reach out and touch someone. Find people
in your industry by search for a particular topic like "social
media" or following industry leaders and checking out the lists
they are members of and lists they are subscribed to. Lists
are a great way to network and find people with the same interest
as you.

What we see in the mirror
By Daniel Cohen-Emotional Wellness Counselor
|
Look in the mirror, how do you see yourself? Do you see yourself, fat, skinny, ugly, worthless? THINK AGAIN! As a person growing up as an obese child I thought I was nothing more than worthless, ugly and fat and would never amount to anything. I have two very loving parents that have always told me to this day that I am handsome and that I can do anything that my heart desires…. If you just TRY! I am sure you are all reading this and saying ok Danny, get to the point.
My point here is Sometimes All we can do is TRY…
TRY and TRY again! Even if you do see yourself in the
mirror as being fat, skinny, ugly OR worthless, NEVER
stop TRYING AND NEVER lose your sense of self-worth. I
NEVER did, I had a goal in my head and I
reached WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL in our own way but sometimes it takes us longer to realize the beauty in ourselves.
“The best and most beautiful thing in life cannot be seen, not touched, but are felt in the heart.” ~Helen Keller

It Doesn't Have to Make Sense
By Jodi Chapman - Inspirational Author
No, it doesn’t make sense that I am here.
And you know what? It doesn’t have to.
Sometimes our souls beg us to leave all of these to-dos and tasks for a moment and listen to our hearts. Sometimes our inner wisdom knows that taking just a few minutes creating or inspiring or loving is all that we need to fill ourselves up, and then we can get back to it all again.
If you are a recovering people pleaser (like me), this putting ourselves first and leaping when our souls urge us to leap may not come naturally to you. If you are used to dropping everything in order to swoop in and help someone else and make their life better in some way, this concept may seem a bit foreign or even a bit scary to you.
I hear you. Really, I do.
Like right now. My soul has been urging me to write all day long. And I vowed to do so first thing this morning. But, like so many other mornings, the day started with fires that needed to be put out. It’s evening now, and this is the first chance I’ve taken to come back to myself and remember that whisper that asked me to write so many hours ago.
Why is it so hard to take time for ourselves? Why is it so hard to honor ourselves in this way? Why is it so easy to take care of others and to please others and to want to be praised by others and to want others to like us that we give up our own needs in the process?
Well, I don’t know why it’s so hard and why it doesn’t always come naturally, but I do know that we can change this knee-jerk reaction to ignore anything that doesn’t make sense in our lives in order to take care of what does. I do know that we matter. You. Me. All of us.
When our souls urge us to sit or create or move down a path other than the one you thought you were supposed to be on – listen. Take action. This is our life that I’m talking about. And we’re the only one who can stand up for it – protect it – and love it.
- So no, it probably doesn’t make sense when you come home from a long day and dinner needs to be made and the house needs to be cleaned, and instead you climb into a hot bubble bath and soak for a long while.
- And it definitely doesn’t make sense when you have at least a million emails to respond to and others waiting to hear back from you to instead turn off your email alerts and escape into your own world of writing.
- And I’m guessing that it wouldn’t make sense to take an entire day each week that was just for you – where you pampered yourself all day and treated yourself like the beautiful blessing that you are.
Nope. These definitely don’t make any sense at all.
But I still think you should do them anyway.
Am I saying that we should ignore our responsibilities and always follow every whim? Definitely not.
I’m saying that when you are so far out of balance doing for others and doing what you think you should do that you honestly can’t remember the last time you listened to your own soul and your own inner voice and followed that – do something about it. Follow that voice and see where it leads. Let it take you down the path back to yourself. Allow yourself to receive this beautiful gift. You deserve it. And I promise your soul will soar and your heart will overflow when you take this much-needed time for yourself. Just like mine is right now because I took the time to write.
And doesn’t honoring ourselves make sense? I sure think so.
What’s one thing that doesn’t make sense in your life, but you’re going to do it anyway because your soul is urging you to?

Are You Ready to Make a Difference?
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist.
Making a difference, in the world or in just one person’s life, can start with something as simple as having the passion to make a difference. All it takes is one person, one thought, one idea and one action. Many organizations have been started because of one person’s passion for a cause and to make a difference.
A difference that started with just one thought, one idea and one person who had the passion to make a change. From Bob Geldof, who organized Live Aid to raise money for Africa’s famine epidemic to Nelson Mandela, who ended the racist Apartheid Regime in South Africa, these people were all responsible for making a difference.

Eliminate Drama in Your Life! 4 Ways to Create Your Positive Zone!
By Cynthia Bazin- Inspirational Specialist
I don’t know about you, but
I’ve got a pretty busy life, working a full-time job, running my
own business, and activities involving family and
friends. The last
thing I need is drama in my life and I am certain most people
feel the same way about their own lives!
Always being an independent person and never being afraid to stand alone in my decisions, I had the mindset even as a young person that we need to take care of ourselves first in order to better serve others. So, when I became an adult and was on my own, it was just natural for me to ensure I created an environment which was positive, and drama-free.
Are you currently living a life that has some drama in it? Some things obviously are out of our control and we’ve got to deal with that drama head-on. But a lot in our life is within our control. If you do have some drama in your life, in what ways have you created the environment that you are in?
In order to make a change to a more simplified, drama-free life, you must take responsibility and ownership of where you currently are, and then commit to making it better. Are you ready to create a zone; an environment of positivity, where you take measures to eliminate anything that drains you, only focusing on what fuels you?
Eliminate Drama In Your Life! 4 Ways to Create Your Positive Zone!
1. Make Decisions on Your Timeline: – When making a decision in your life, never, ever feel pressured by anyone to make a quick decision. It’s your life, so make decisions when you feel comfortable and confident; based on your timeline.
2. Allow only Supportive, Positive People in Your Zone: – We are in control of our own emotions and what we allow to affect us. Don’t let people drain your energy. Surround yourself with people that are positive and supportive of you. Do you have a negative person in your family? We can’t choose our family, but we can control what we will tolerate and allow in our zone.
3. Only Commit to Something that is an Absolute “Yes”: In our lives, we are going to be asked to be part of all types of activities. Before saying yes to something, is it an absolute yes? Don’t feel pressured to do something just because someone invited you. If it’s not an absolute yes, don’t commit until you further look at how the activity will impact your day, your week, or your life and then make an informed decision on what to do.
4. Always Live With Integrity: Do the right thing all the time. When you are doing what is best and full of integrity, you have nothing to worry about, never having to look over your shoulder or remember what the truth is.
It’s never too late to eliminate drama from your life and create a zone of positivity. Is there some drama in your life that you need to eliminate? What are you doing or going to do to create your zone; a positive zone? I want to hear from you! - Cynthia Bazin

By Daniel Cohen-Emotional Wellness Counselor
For those of you that know me and are aware that I have
epilepsy, finding a safe, natural and effective treatment has
been pretty much a priority of mine for the past
22 years. With that being said, I think I may have found
it! No I am not “cured” of my seizures, YET
but I think I am slowly but
surely on my way to finding one.
Coconut oil, the amazing fat that is extracted from the
fruit of the coconut holds a myriad of health benefits.
It helps keep our skin and hair looking healthy, it helps fight
off bad bacteria that can wreak havoc on our digestive systems,
helps keep our cardiovascular systems in check and boosts the
immune system and benefits the thyroid.
Perhaps though, one of the most amazing properties that this oil
possesses is its effects on brain health. It acts as an insulator
for brain tissue and with its abundant amount of Medium Chain
Triglycerides keeps the brain active and energized.
Our brains are made up of about 70% fat, it provides a source of
energy and nutrients to the body that without it our bodies and
our
brains will become slow, and not function as
they should. For over forty years now the Ketogenic
diet has been the model to accomplish the feat of getting the
adequate amount of fat for the “sick” brain. This is a
diet extremely high in saturated fats, I.E butter, cream, and
lard but lacks the good healthy fats that keep our hearts
healthy, our waistlines happy and ultimately or brains working at
their peak performance levels.
Today the Ketogenic diet as we know it has gone through
many transitions, starting with the Atkins diet in the
seventies and then the Zone diet in the nineties. Living with a
neurological disorder I have tried both but can say I have found
little or no benefit to my neurological status. I can say though
that with their help and with my own modifications I was able to
lose 80 lbs which I have still been able to keep off today!
But wait… That is not what this story is about, it is about Fat
and our brains and how consuming the right fat at the right times
can help keep our brains healthy and happy.
Aside from our brains using fat as a means of fuel our
brains also rely on fat as a means to keep it “insulated”,
without this “insulation” our brains reaction time can
slow which in turn can lead to movement difficulty,
memory loss, depression and learning difficulties. The take away
here is GET YOUR FAT! Don’t be afraid of it.
Below are some great sources of fat that we should be
including in our diets daily.
Coconut oil
Fish oil
Flax oil
Almonds
Avacodo
Olive Oil

Move Towards Your Inner Power & Walk Through Your Shadows
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach1. Take baby steps toward your fear. You don't need to go on a parachute or to the edge of The grand Canyon the first day--just go on top of a small hill (or a glass elevator) and look down. You don't need to write the entire book this weekend--just take some time to make an outline.
2. Learn tools or processes that can help you
dissolve your fear. There are many
"shortcuts" out there-techniques that are effective at
dissipating the fear on a deep level. One of
my favorites is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known
as Tapping-see how to do that here:
-
Here's a global fears top ten:
1. Fear of public speaking (Glossophobia)
2. Fear of death (Necrophobia)
3. Fear of spiders (Arachnophobia)
4. Fear of darkness (Achluophobia)
5. Fear of heights (Acrophobia)
6. Fear of people or social situations (Sociophobia)
7. Fear of flying (Aerophobia)
8. Fear of open spaces (Agoraphobia)
9. Fear of thunder and lightning (Brontophobia)
10. Fear of confined spaces (Claustrophobia
Typically, EFT is facilitated with a practitioner for several sessions, while the individual is tapping on their own every day. EFT is especially effective when integrated with peak performance success coaching.
Clients are successfully guided to release fear and completely reverse phobias after only few sessions!

3. Make a commitment to yourself to keep moving toward that fear until you're on the other side. Find a buddy and/or a coach to help support you. Tell your buddy what your commitment is and ask him or her to stick by you through your process.

know.... The social media event that I did today was a huge success!!! We had over 100 people in attendance and not only was I extremely comfortable, I was able to deliver a clear and concise message that was educational and inspired people. Top Seven Business Success Factors Every Start-up Needs

Business Success Factors How To Make Your Dreams Come
True
is
one of the best feelings you can have. I discovered
early on there is nothing in this life you cannot have if you
really want it and are willing to go after it. The
Key word here is GO it is the word that gets you moving.
Action is what takes your dreams
and turns them into reality.
Business Success Factors Your New Business Must Have
1. Focus, do not take
your eye off the ball. Stay on track and see it through. There
are critical points to any new business or venture if you start
strong and then stop so will the business.
When I say focus, I mean laser focus on one aspect of your
business at a time. Once you have completed one segment go on to
the next. Do not worry about anyone else.
It is critical that you do not start
to second-guess yourself based on
fear. If you have
done, your homework and you know you have a great business
concept concentrate on getting it up and running.
2.
Persistence, If your plans
are not succeeding then revise them. Do something atypical
to shake it up. Giving up too soon is the prime reason
small business have such a small success rate. I have seen many
people do that right before they were about to see their hard
work pay off.
Before you start, any type of major commitment like
a new business ask yourself I am in this for the long
haul? If the answer is anything but a
resounding YES, do not waste your time. You are not ready
to be a business owner, most people have no idea what owning your
own business entails. It is a serious commitment
that you want to look at the same way you would look at getting
married. You do not take that on in the blink of an eye;
the same thing goes for opening a business.
3. Patience, do
not expect to see profits the first year. It can happen but
do not use that as a way to measure your success. Set
realist goals and you will get little pay offs all along the way.
4. Surround yourself with winners. Make sure you are surrounding yourself with people that have a optimistic mindset and are living their dreams. The more positive encouragement you get the more likely you are to succeed.
It is true that we are all made up of energy and
energy has a density that can be experienced. If you are
spending time with someone, his or her energy is contagious
literally. People can either lift you higher or pull you
down. The minute you realize that your work environment is
contaminated with damaging energy you need to let that person go.
5. Time
Management, do
not spend your precious time doing
tasks that you can easily delegate. Make a list of all the
things you can have someone else do. Then make a list of
all the things that you like to do and a list of the things only
you can do. From those three lists, you will have at least
one-maybe two job descriptions. These are the tasks you
want your assistant(s) to complete.
Do not hold on to things because you
think no one else will do them the same way you do.
That may be true although you are
only one person and if you delegate the items that you do not
like and you are not good at you will have time to continue to
focus on the things that you do best.
6. Think Outside the Box. Come up with
creative ways to introduce your business to potential and
existing clients. If you want to keep up in today's fast
paced world of new and innovative ways to
market and promote your company you are going to have to stand
out.
Same thing with new products and services you want to think of
easy solutions that are effective for your clients that no one
else is doing. That is the only way to become a leader in
your industry. You have to get there first and continue to
do that at a high level in order to be considered one of the
best.
7. Smart Hiring Decisions, Hiring the wrong people
will end up destroying your business before it gets off the
ground. Do not over hire start
out slow and hire as you begin to grow. You can put yourself out
of business by hiring too many
employees. Take your time and make
your decisions based on references, interview and their follow
up. If they do not follow up
that could be a sign that you have an uninterested
candidate.
Follow your intuition if something tells you not to hire that person listen. If you did make a mistake and hire the wrong fit for your company let them go as soon as you realize your mistake. One bad apple can ruin the whole batch.
Don't ever give up achieving your dreams and goals you have them for a reason.
I wish for you all the success and happiness the universe has to offer.
