Quick Tips for Repurposing Your Content
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist. If you generate content on a daily or weekly basis, it can be quite time consuming, especially if you are only creating it for one purpose and in only one format. If you are writing blog or an article for your ezine, and not using that content anywhere else, you aren’t leveraging your content or your expertise.
As a business owner, you are busy enough trying to get everything you need to do to run a successful business, so do you really want to be spending all that time coming up with new content for everything you do? Wouldn’t you rather create one and maximize it as much as possible?
It’s time to leverage your time and your expertise.
How can you do that? You can do that by repurposing your content into different formats. This is how to get your information out in front of a larger audience, build your list and your reputation.
We all know that the more content you get out, the more visibility you get and the more you will be perceived as the expert in your niche.
Here are some quick tips to help you repurpose your content:
1. Ebooks / Special Reports. You can get some great articles and/or blogs out of these. If you have chapters or sections, you can use these as your starting point to write new ones. Create a new title, add headings, subheadings, bullet points and post. Don’t forget to submit to directories.
2. Switch it around. Have blogs or articles on related topics? Put them together and create an ebook or create a great new opt-in for your website. Add a cover page, table of contents and a call to action.
3. Audio / Video. Transcribe any audio or video that you have. This is a lot of content you can use. You can repurpose a teleseminar at least 10 different ways.
4. Change the format. Have a blog? Record it and post the audio. Submit to other sites. Record as a video and post to YouTube.
5. Programs. You can repurpose programs you have already run to generate passive revenue. Use the handouts, worksheets and outlines to create a new product. Transcribe the audio if you had weekly calls and include as well.
6. Blogs and articles. Create audios or podcasts and have them available to download or submit to various sites including iTunes.
7. Create video. Create a video of your blogs and articles. If you have a series of blogs, create a video series. Upload to YouTube.
These are only some of the ways that you can repurpose your content.
Every time you create something new, always think about other ways that you can repurpose so that you can leverage your time and expertise and get in front of a larger audience.
It’s all about working smarter, not harder.

repurposing, check out my Video Repurposing Tips here: Repurposing Tips
The Critical Web Site Factor You Need To Convert Your Visitors Into Clients
By Dawn Abraham - Motivational WhispererWondering Why Your Web Site Doesn't Bring in the Big Sales? How to write an About Me Page that will turn your web site visitors into clients. Today's Inspiration for my Small Business Marketing Tip post comes from something I read in Eileen Lichtenstein's Article titled: Everyone's got a story right?
Yes, Eileen is right and that gave me the idea to bring
up this marketing tip that only the successful business
owners know how to do effectively.
An About Me page is essential and
I see too many entrepreneurs either exclude this
page or if they do have one it looks like they did it
more out of obligation and because of that the most important
page any online entreprenuer that is not a brand name can have is
the about me page. I am not talking about your about the company
page. I am talking about the page that talks about you as
a person, if you are your company that is even more important.
If you have an online business, it is even more important that you share with your visitors who you are. It takes it to the personal level and that is where relationships form. If you are a small business, your web site visitors most likely have never heard of you. They may have clicked on your site hoping to find out more about who you are and why they should listen to you regarding your business. If they can't find this, it is a red flag for most that says you have something to hide.
The way you tell your story is also imperative so it lays the foundation for that oh so important Key to Success= Relationship building.
Everyone has heard the old saying, "People buy from people they know and trust." and that is very true so how can your social network or web site visitors get to know you?
The small business marketing tip we are focusing on today is the ABOUT ME page. If you don't have an about me page you are missing the human factor. That factor is what gives you the advantage over the big companies that have no face.
You have a face and you want to show it in more ways than just with a picture of you, which you should have on your web site's about you page. No picture, No About YOU page= No Business. That is the bottom line. You can't afford to leave this out of the equation.
If you are missing the about me page add that today and follow my check list and let's increase your business today.
Small Business Marketing Tip Check List For Your About Me
Page:
Without boring anyone and without revealing too much let, people know who YOU are.
1. Introduce yourself and tell everyone what you do now.
2. Share in a personal way what motivated you to start your business.
3. Share what is important to you regarding what you do. Your mission statement is a great way to show what you stand for as a person and company.
4. If you belong to any charities list them and talk briefly, why they matter to you.
5. If you have a family, mention them briefly let people know you are a family oriented person if that is true.
6. Allow your unique personality to shine through. Don't try to sound like anyone else, the more real you are the better. People can sense sincerity and they can also sense when it's missing. Talk to them not at them.
7. Have a sense of humor this is your about me page don't sound like a corporation. If they wanted a faceless huge board of Directors Corporation, they wouldn't be considering you.
8. Show people what makes you someone that people love to do business with. Tell a personal or great business story here. Show how you went the extra mile for someone and it paid off for them. Show people by telling them how you did something that saved someone money or got a cleint her first big break. That goes a lot further than simply saying I am great. Show how you are great.
9. Don't sell anything on this page. This is for sharing about who you are let it sell itself. What I mean here is don't say now buy this. You should have one call to action at the very end of the page.
10. The way you want to conclude your about me page is with a call to action to sign up for your personal e-zine where the relationship building continues. I will talk more about how to build relationships with your e-zine coming up in another marketing tip blog. Stay tuned for that more success and small business marketing tips.

Everyone's got a story, right?
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach
Your clients want to know you've been through struggles and come
out the other end . They want to know what lights you up and what
makes you cry.
Everyone's got a story, right?
Revealing this makes you more human and more trustworthy- people buy from those they trust. Given the choice between two individuals of equivalent technical or business skill, people will hire someone they feel they KNOW better.
Sometimes it takes only one introduction, such as hearing you on a teleseminar or meeting you at a networking event, before folks know you're the one they want to work with.
The personal relationship that you develop -- sometimes over years -- that leads to new business. That's what your blogs, newsletters and presentations are for!
Getting personal is literally sharing parts of your personal, non-professional life with your readers and seminar attendees. Sometimes your personal note is related to a business message, and sometimes it's just not.
For example, when I wrote about my experience of my empty nest getting emptier- when my daughters each moved to Europe- there was no business message. It was completely personal. I share this story and many of my clients stories in my 2nd edition of my book, SOAR! with Resilience™ and my presentations, too. Everyone's got a story, right?
Writing about your personal life can feel
scary at first. It did to me, too. But try it, and I can
practically guarantee, over time, greater success in your
business.

What Writing a Book Can Do For You and Your Business
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist.Have you started writing your book yet? You know the one you have been thinking about for a long, long time. The one that you know will make a difference to a lot of people but you just can’t seem to get started or even finish?
Well, there has never been a better time than now to get going and get it done. With book sales on the rise and more people reading (in digital and in print) it’s time to get those creative juices flowing and share your message with a lot more people.
Here are just a few things that writing a book can do for you and your business. A book can:
- boost your expert status
- build your following
- take your business to the next level
- help you gain recognition and respect
- help you get more speaking engagements
- open more doors than you thought possible
Most people automatically think that if someone writes a book that they are an expert at what they wrote about, that they really know what they are talking about to have written a book about it, right? No kidding! Don’t you think that?
Really, why would someone think you would write a book about something you knew nothing about? So what does that say about you if you do write one? It obviously means you have a lot of knowledge about your topic. It means you are an expert.
Think about this: If you wanted information about a certain topic, you would more than likely research it, probably on the Internet. You could find information on the topic, look at the search results, the articles, etc. But if there was a book about your topic, wouldn’t you think that the person who wrote the book knew a whole lot more than the people who only wrote articles? That’s not to say that the people who write the articles aren’t experts, but writing a book puts someone on a completely different level.
Writing a book also elevates your status as the go-to person in your industry. It also means that you can justify raising your rates and people will gladly pay you. They don’t question what you charge because you are the “expert” and they WANT your advice.
Writing a book also means that your customers understand that you know much more than they do. That’s why they contact you and want to work with you. Now, you’re in demand.
You also gain recognition and respect, not only from your customers, but from your peers and colleagues. How many of your colleagues have written a book?
Writing a book can also bring you more speaking engagements and help you to share your message with an even larger audience, not to mention being able to offer your book to the audience and generate some income with back of the room sales.
You’ll find you no longer have to chase after clients: They’ll be chasing you!
How many people do you know in your industry that have written a book? Think about people whose books have helped them build their business. Now think about what writing a book can do for you and your business. It’s pretty amazing isn’t it?
Just imagine for a moment, that you are a published author. What does that feel like? What does that do for your confidence, your reputation and your sales?
Writing a book can be one of the most rewarding, if not challenging, things you can do for you and your business.
You are an expert at what you do. No one does it the way you do or says things the way you do. It doesn’t matter if there are tons of books out there on the same topic: there isn’t a book on that topic written by YOU! You are unique and so is the way you do things. You have satisfied customers or clients that swear by you method, service or products. There are other people out there that need what you offer too.
Are you ready to write your book and share your message?
If you are
busy and overwhelmed but know that writing a book is something
you need or want to do, I suggest you download a copy of my
ebook, 3 Keys to Generating
Revenue by Leveraging Your Expertise where you will learn how
you can repurpose your content to help you write your book.
