Are You Authentic Enough?
By Ali Rodriguez Business CoachIn this Social Media environment, where authenticity and transparency are a must in order to do business in integrity, knowing who you are, what you want, who you serve, are extremely important key-ingredients for a successful business and a well balanced, healthy, wealthy life.
Have you ever felt like telling somebody to literally “Go to
Hell”…but didn’t?
You are NOT alone.
CONSIDER:
¨ How often do you bite your tongue?
¨ How much does it hurt when you do?
¨ How long does it remain sore?
¨ How do you feel when you don’t speak up?
¨ In the long run, is it worth it?
OPTIONS:
¨ Mark your territory and then, claim it! (Watch your pets do so!)
¨ Empower yourself by speaking your own truth in an assertive way. You are in control. You OWN your Power, in all its glory.
¨ Boundaries are a key ingredient to your authenticity. Be sure to set them up, and set them up good so that everyone knows where you are coming from. Let them know what is okay with you and what is “not”.
¨ Setting up, understanding, and verbalizing your very delicate, and yet very firm boundaries, becomes a win-win-win for everyone in your life. Trust me; they will love you for it.
¨ By taking a stand towards what you are passionate about, you let the world know the YOU that shows up in total splendor and fully expressed, each and every time. You are also showing leadership!
POINTS TO PONDER:
¨ Assess what you have to lose if you don’t speak up.
¨ Appreciate what you have to gain when you do!
¨ Observe the birds-eye view of what’s going on with your business.
¨ Understand that by taking a stand for your passions and speaking your own truth, you will be criticized, no matter what, and that is a very good thing.
¨ Understand how being your “authentic” self, becomes the lifeline to your personal health, wealth, and all around sense of well-being.
ACTION PLAN:
Understand that by being your most Authentic Self you always win and so do the people around you; therefore:
¨ Make a “written” list of what can happen when you speak your own truth, and state the pros and cons just like you would a Profit and Loss statement; as for each action, there is a Balance Sheet showing you the areas of improvements along with the areas of growth.
¨ Analyze the areas that require your immediate attention and act/adjust accordingly.
¨ Know when to bite your tongue or as the Kenny Rogers’ song goes: “Know when to fold them.” - Being your authentic self requires diplomacy at times. And this can be an “art form” that you must learn and conquer. Get resourceful about this.
¨ Strike the right balance by digging deeper into what is okay with you and what is not. This is imperative you put it in writing as it helps you gain clarity into what’s important to you.
¨ Get an accountability coach or mentor to help you stick to your plan, and to further develop the next chapter of this gorgeous process better known as YOU.
Make a commitment to be authentic and consistent. Brilliance and greatness will follow.
Learning is always earning, so never stop the process that brings richness into your life, as after all, life is about you, and also about those that you are here to serve, honor, and help.
From my heart to yours, I have to tell you something… “business
as usual” doesn’t exist anymore. It’s amazing but true – the most
successful businesses today are fueled by something that

It’s Monday and for many that is a bad word. Monday, Monday, Monday! The great thing is, Monday can become your favorite day of the week with a simple shift in attitude! It’s simple to begin your week on a positive note when you create the right mindset.
Begin your day by expecting the best! Hold the intention for the day and the week that something WONDERFUL will happen and allow it to come in its own time.
Create an uplifting ritual. Doing something nice for yourself to begin the day, and the week, gets you moving on a positive note. Gift yourself the time for a relaxing cup of coffee, a long shower or whatever else makes you feel wonderful! Knowing that you have this to look forward to each morning gives you a lift in spirit that carries through into the rest of your day.

Talk to friends, lay the groundwork for an outing or get-together and get the ball rolling toward making things happen. 14. Find 5-10 outside
of the box ways to market your brand that
is unique
to you.
The list you make has to come from what you do. If you can't think of anything unique, then take an idea and change it so it is you. When people say, copy others they don't mean literally. Get your ideas from others and then do you. If someone looks at what you are doing and thinks of another brand, you missed the mark.
When I do, something people say wow that is so innovate or so different I love it. I always get, you are always thinking of these brilliant ideas. That is what you want to hear not, "Oh, that is just like so and so. "
They won't remember your event or product afterwards and what's worse is they won't remember your brand. The reason is what you did was just like everyone else, you blended in with the crowd. If you want to be prominent and memorable, you have to be exceptional and unique.
In order to accomplish that you will have to go outside your
comfort zone and take some calculated risks. You won't know
if something works unless you try it and if it's unique, the risk
is people may not like what you're doing. You have to test
it with a smaller group this way you don't risk the business you
already have.
That is why big companies have focus groups or
they run a movie to a small group of people before the major
release date. They want to see if what they created is
going to be a hit. You can do the same thing and
should.
If you belong to a master mind group or brainstorming group run it by them before you release it, they will tell you how they feel. Even better, they will tell you what you left out and what you did right. If you don't have, a group like this you can join ours. We have a monthly brainstorming meeting here at Motivational Whisperers. First sign up for Motivational Whisperers here is our Free membership option and then go to the brainstorming group and hit join. You will be glad you did.
This is a Sample Small business marketing plan you can use to guide your marketing efforts and give you ideas on how to execute them. You will find that every industry is different and you should look into your target audience thoroughly before completing your own marketing plan.

How to fix the five Most Critical Obstacles an Entrepreneur Faces. What’s it worth to you to stop doing everything yourself in your business?
By Ana Hillis-Re-purposing Specialist. How important is your time?
Sometimes, as business owners it’s really easy to just do things ourselves. We think that by the time we figure out what we want to do, then relaying the message to our VA, OBM, web designer or whoever else is on our team, it’s just quicker to do it ourselves. But is it?
I have been guilty of this too. The worst part is that I’m not really that good at some of the things I attempt to do, and the next thing I know, its hours later and I haven’t accomplished the important things, things that generate revenue in my business.
Yes, I like to learn new things and I certainly enjoy doing some of the tasks that I need to delegate, but am I really using my time the best way that I can?
With a husband, 2 kids, 2 dogs, a house and all the things that go with that, not to mention my business, my time is limited. I love what I do but I don’t want to, nor should I, be spending all day doing every little thing that needs to be done.
So what is my time worth to me?
It’s worth what I charge my clients to work on their projects and deliver what, and when, I say I am going to deliver. I live by the words, “Underpromise, Overdeliver.” I love to give my clients MORE than what they thought they were going to get.
It’s worth being able to go sit on the floor and play with my kids, whenever I want to, or they want me to.
It’s worth being able to take a day off and hang out with my family.
It’s worth being able to do the things that I LOVE to do, that come easiest to me and that I charge for. In the words of Suzanne Evan’s, “That which comes easiest to you, is what you should charge the most for.”
It’s worth spending the extra time to do the best job I can for each of my clients and focusing on that one thing and getting it done.
Repurposing content is the easiest thing in the world for me and I find it easy. I don’t spend time updating my website or designing graphics. Although, if something has to be done and the people who normally handle it are not available, I will jump in and take care of it myself. That’s not a common thing though.
Think about what you do. Are you a Coach, a Healer or a service provider? Are you spending most of your time doing what you love and what brings in the money? Or are you spending a lot of your time on your website, creating invoices, sending out emails, and on and on.
Yes, we all have to do the sales and marketing, take care of our clients and do other things for our business, but having someone else take care of things that you can hand off is really important.
If you are doing it all yourself, take one day and track how much time you spend on all your tasks every day. Are you spending more than 1 hour a day doing things that someone else can do. That 1 hour a day can work out to approximately 20 hours a month!
How many clients can you take care of with 20 extra hours a month?
How many sales calls can you make in 20 hours?
Let’s say that you had an extra 20 hours a month and you could sign on 5 new clients at $500 per month for 6 months. That’s $15,000. Isn’t that worth it to delegate some tasks?
Sometimes it’s hard to let go, sometimes it’s hard to find the right help, but in the long run, it’s going to be harder and harder to run your business.
If you are gearing up to take your business to the next level, you need to have systems in place that will support that growth before it happens. Not after.
When you start to hand things off and delegate them to other team
members, you will see how much more time you have and realize
what it is worth to you.

ADD or Learning Disorder? The Alternative School Option Parents Don't Know!
By Mariaemma Willis - Learning Styles Specialist - for School & Life SuccessIs school stress affecting your family or someone you know?
Does your child struggle in school? Experience depression or anxiety?
Is your child getting good grades, but paying the high price of being stressed out?
Is your teenager wasting time with useless busy work and irrelevant courses?
Has your child been labeled dyslexic, ADD, ADHD, or other learning disability?
Does your child lack confidence in his/her own abilities or believe he/she is not smart?
Does your child appear to be “unmotivated” or just “average”?
Wishing for another option?
Imagine a school experience that:
• begins designing your child’s future NOW!
• is built around your child’s deep interests, strengths and talents
• is a launch pad for internships, job opportunities, or even college NOW (for older students)!
• brings success to EVERY student!
Re-think everything about school…
Did you know that your child can have a program that is customized for his/her learning styles and interests? Even high school can be all about exploring career goals and how to get there, whether it be a vocational program, starting a business, or going to a community college or university.
Students DO NOT have to follow a regimented program full of yearly requirements and credits. You can create an independent study program that meets your specific students’ needs and interests.
And, yes, your student can still go to college if that is the goal. But there are lots of other options to explore!
Here is an example of a student program:
Career Exploration
Text: Cool Careers for Dummies by Nemko
Arts
Dance, voice, piano, and acting/drama lessons
Fitness
Dance
Other options: horseback riding, walk in morning, fitness center
Personal Development
Learning Style Course for Students
World History
Choose videos, books of interest, internet research
Create scrapbook
Depending on their interests students focus on fashion, cooking, engineering, drama, the arts, and many other areas. Their programs can include internships, work experience, volunteering, or even starting a business. Skills in areas such as writing or math can be included as needed and in ways that work for their learning styles. Life skills, fitness, and financial literacy can also be included. In other words, school can really be what it was meant to be: preparation for life!
Watch this video of a student who experienced this type of schooling and is now a graduate:

How to Overcome the Weak Link
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachImagine finding the weak link in your chain - finding your constraint and whew! ... figuring out how to overcome the weak link in your chain. The idea is that when you pull harder and harder on a chain, it eventually breaks at the weakest link. Efforts you might take to strengthen any links other than the weakest one may be in vain! However, strengthening the weakest link will extend the life of the chain under stress – until the next weakest link breaks. This is conceptually helpful in prioritizing project tasks . There are two types of constraints:
Physical Contraints
Physical constaints are usually more straightforward and easier to identify. They often relate to capacity, such as having enough writers to push out the copy, having enough carpenters to put up the framing, having the right size machine to put out the desired production of widgets, and the like. As with the chain, the physical constraints truly do limit the overall productivity of a work unit in just the same way as the weak link in the chain limits the chain’s overall strength.
Psychological Constraints
Psychological constraints are usually much more difficult to identify and control. An example is a common belief, or set of assumptions, that limit what can be accomplished. This is often present with technical people who have really dug into the detail on something, especially over time. Often, the assumptions or answers to such efforts change over time, and because the issues are so complex, it takes diving deep again to discover the changes.
Keep in mind the Theory of Constraints in your project work so that it can focus you on the next priority task that will have the most – and maybe the only – possible impact on your project.
Perhaps you understand what your physical and/or psychological constraints are. Now.. how do you get past them? Make the link in the chain strong? Move on...?
Revisiting & Appreciating the Past
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success Coach~ My husband Steve and I, college sweethearts, have been through a lot together. We have been married forty years and have two beautiful daughters whom we are very proud of. They both have left the nest long ago; Jess (34) living and working in London; Ariel (32) in Madrid. Both settled in Europe for completely different reasons Ariel first for adventure-travel and then settling down and teaching English, living with her Spanish boyfriend. Jessica attended graduate school in London, and decided to stay with her British boyfriend; they’ve now been married for seven years and she holds a position as an administrator within the healthcare system.
Well, I was devastated with their individual decisions to stay in Europe. I’d been “empty-nested” through their college years and work experiences in the United States- but this was different! We’ve always been close with open communication- and they were telling me that it was like they had moved to California- yet it was really different- every time I wanted to have an evening chat they would be sleeping. There was a period of time when I just didn’t “get it”. Then there was 9/11 and that compounded my feelings. Before these turn of events, I’d been really good at visualizing positive outcomes for myself and my family, meditating and moving on from negative thinking.
In the past I was able to “detach” and not be judgmental or disappointed with my decisions my daughters made. These times were different for me- my attitude and my “visualizations” weren’t right. Finally I “got it”. Jess and Ariel were doing what each had visualized for themselves and I needed to be fully behind them as I had been in the past, being their mom and role model. I knew that Steve and I had brought them up to think things through, consider pros and cons and to be aware of problems that may arise from actions. We had to trust them- the wonderful judgment each possesses, a quality that makes us so proud.

Sad Supermom
By Eileen Lichtenstein - Peak-Performance-Success CoachMothers who combine work and family and do not expect perfection are much happier than women who think they can be "supermom". Generally, women who work are happier than stay at home moms.
Studies are showing that the sad supermom expects perfection in the role. This makes sense since unrealistic expectations with strong attachment to outcome is never a good equation.
Adding young children and perhaps a workplace without childcare into the mix is surely a path to finding sad supermom. Realistic expectations all around lead to happier moms.
My happy-sad supermom days are long gone. I
experienced empty nested sadness about ten years ago..
and included some insight about that in my book . I offer coaching in these and
