May 5th, 2012 (5-5-5) - Earth Shift - Here's the low-down :)

By Jason Levitt - Dream Guide, Activational Healer, Motivational Whisperer

Ok lovelies, light workers, healers and the like - here's the scoop:

There is a beautiful shift May 5, 2012 ( 5/5/5) that will help to further usher in the New Paradigm. The Modern Mystery School is hosting a global movement from all initiates to non-initiates. We are inviting you (everyone!) to join us and people from all over the world.

To support this shift we're asking everyone to light a candle and put it in the window and pray for all of humanity and beautiful mother earth, through May 5th. Beyond the candle, what's the best way to participate? You can offer daily prayers, meditations, conscious daily thoughts and actions.

For those of us less esoterically inclined, the easiest thing to do is to do what brings you joy! Anything that makes you soulfully laugh and smile - no limits! Take in the sun......help someone....let your soul guide you. Imagine a world of peace and take that moment of joy you've felt with you throughout the day, with a smile in your heart and on your face. Feel that light spread throughout your body. Do this today and through May 5th and see how your life improves. And please, light a candle and take some time to pray, meditate, and be in joy during the 2 hour period from 11pm May 4th until 1am May 5th in your time zone.

And of course, repost this note, share and pass it around, and help the movement grow!

This is truly the time to "be the change that you wish to see" ~ Gandhi

If you'd like to read an amazing and powerful prayer to work with, please vistit my FB profile where I've posted it below the main message:

And, you can see it here with more detail and explanation

The Great invocation.

Google+Hangout Party.. Music to my Ears With Taylor Henry Heather Fay & Scott Feierstein!

By Elaine Lindsay- Social Network Marketing & Relationship Strategist

On October 27th, I discovered an awesome surprise!  I was halfheartedly cyber-tidying, after my Mastermind call was rescheduled and I stumbled across a hangout with the luminescent Heather Fay and the sultry Cat Beach, so I popped in…

What an opportunity! I discovered a weekly  ’Open Mic’ Hangout that can be accessed at <="" em="">href=”http://www.hangoutparty.com/”>Hangout Party. Mina Koo’s quirky and catchy hook…OMG its still playing in my head!

And that those were just the female artists in the Hangout!

A master in his own right, Dan Hagen played guitar while Cat sang.  Then there came the angelic Taylor Henry *wink wink* who had a lilting voice, that simply drew me in.

We were also treated to a song from Scott Feierstein, who, for all his protests of being out of touch with his guitar, didn’t sound rusty at all.  I could have drowned in Doug McDermott’s voice, it was so deep and earthy.

In addition to myself, Lamond B, and Mel Rodriguez,  the esteemed duo of Steve Altman and Tom McWilliams (of Monstro Visionary Entertainment), sharing a cyber-seat, rounded out the enthusiastic and appreciative audience.

I’ve said before how much I love Hangouts and how much I am totally enamored of Google+ and all the possibilities it provides.

For me, this is TROOL-Y what was envisioned by those who talk about the Global Village: Talented artists from all over the world sharing music, offering each other support and reveling in the good vibes.  Each artist seemingly and unabashedly safe, baring their very souls.

Do I sound smitten? Hells Yeah!

Growing up, I was always told I was tone deaf, and couldn’t carry a tune from here to the door.  For this reason, I think I am even more mesmerized by all of the talent out there. Within this hangout, an ocean of musicality was suddenly open to me, and I was free to dive in and float around.

I give Hangout Party two thumbs up, and who knows, you may get to hear the next great sensation in an intimate setting like none other.

Give Hangout Party a whirl! Go on…do it now!

How To Launch Facebook Skype Video Chat [Photo Tutorial]

By James Rutnam - Motivational Whisperers VP, Website Designer

You can now make video calls on Facebook, thanks to a new Skype-powered feature the social network launched Wednesday.

During the product announcement, Mark Zuckerberg described how his elderly neighbor in Palo Alto asked if he could to video chat his grandson on Facebook — without the hassle of setting up a new account or downloading a program. “Tune in,” Zuckerberg told him.

It’s not quite as seamless as Zuckerberg’s neighbor was hoping, however. The first time you try to video chat someone or answer a call, you will indeed be asked to download a program. The chat window will then ask you to select some Flash settings. Read More Here...

Everything You Need To Know About Google’s +1 Button

By James Rutnam - Motivational Whisperers VP, Website Designer
In March Google introduced The +1 Button, a simple way to “Like” Google search results…

Article by Website Designer James Rutnam at  Webtimegraphics.com

When you’re signed into your Google account, every Google search result will now have a +1 icon next to it . If you find the search result useful or just enjoy the linked site, you hit the +1 icon. Google says by +1-ing a result you’re giving it a recommendation, a stamp of approval. More +1′s on a result means the site is more interesting.

Social

You can see what your friends +1′d which ideally lends more credence to a particular search result. Imagine if your best friend found a link interesting and +1′d it. When you stumble upon that in the future, you’re probably going to click it.

The +1 button is shorthand for “this is pretty cool” or “you should check this out.” Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval. Your +1′s can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when they search.

Google Evolution

Google +1 is another sign that Google wants to evolve into a more social search engine. All those +1′s they keep track of will not only help Google make their searches better, but also make them more relevant to your social circle. As the Internet gets clotted in cobwebs, having friends personally +1 the best sites keeps Google from falling too far behind Facebook and Twitter in social sharing.

Ranking

An exact quote from Google’s David Byttow, from when the feature was first announced: “We’ll also start to look at +1’s as one of the many signals we use to determine a page’s relevance and ranking, including social signals from other services. For +1′s, as with any new ranking signal, we’ll be starting carefully and learning how those signals affect search quality over time.”

What is a Master Mind Group and How Can it Help You Succeed?

By Cindy Holbrook - Confidence & Empowerment Coach

What is a Master Mind?

A Master Mind is a group of like minded individuals who have similar, yet very distinctive goals and aspirations. There are several types of groups to choose from. Some have paid facilitators and some do not. Note that master mind groups without paid facilitators are normally a group of people that met at an event (either online or off) that decided to get together once or twice a month to brainstorm ideas. Large business owners often create their own group of master minds to focus on brainstorming new and creative ways to market their business.

The Best Master Mind Group integrate teaching and sharing with a paid facilitator. At each meeting the participants learn new strategies to grow their business and then have homework to put the strategy into action. There is also time set aside to brainstorm and ask questions related to their niche and business. In addition they may be partnered with another member, and often these partnerships lead to long-lasting friendships and brainstorming sessions.

How Can a Master Mind Help You Succeed?

Being in a group of like minded individuals is exciting and motivating. By promising to do something in front of a group, you are more likely to follow through so you can tell them how it went.

You’ll get feedback on your ideas and goals. You can ask for help in overcoming obstacles you face and learn by another’s experience. Master Mind groups can often speed up your success because you learn what doesn’t work by other members so you can avoid some of the learning curve.

Learn creative ways to market your business. It’s amazing what can come out of a brainstorming session. Bring your idea to the table during the session and be blown away by the ideas that come from group members.  Members also share ways they have marketed which can spark new ideas for your own niche.

Position yourself as an expert in your niche. A group can help you to narrow your niche down to a targeted market of hungry customers. This includes tips on SEO (search engine optimization) that will give you a greater chance of being ranked higher in the search engines.

Use social media to grow your business. When you belong to a Master Mind group, participants often help you build your brand by retweeting your tweets and talking about you and to you on Facebook and other social media sites.

Midlife Crisis Begins in Kindergarten...

By Mariaemma Willis - Learning Styles Specialist - for School & Life Success
...with labels such as ADD, ADHD, slow, dyslexic, learning disabled, just average, and even gifted!

Did you know that midlife crisis begins in kindergarten? Yes, it's true! It is in kindergarten (and sometimes in preschool!) that our society begins the process of teaching children that they are not smart enough, not quick enough, not working to potential, not high enough on the bell curve, not as good as the next guy...just plain not measuring up!

Midlife Crisis is the term we use to indicate a trauma experienced in the middle years —usually having to do with the question, “What am I doing with my life?” There are stories of extreme reactions that all of us have heard: like the guy who is a doctor, quits one day, and goes to live in the woods; as well as less dramatic cases like the financial consultant who enters the ministry.

There is nothing wrong with changing careers. But we don’t say midlife celebration, we say midlife crisis!  Crisis, because this time is often associated with feelings of unhappiness and confusion. Some people choose to “run away.” Others are afraid to change anything, then believe for the rest of their lives that they have been short changed. These are the people who say in later years, If only . . . , I missed my chance to . . .

And, so, we have books such as Do What You Love, The Money Will Follow by Marsha Sinetar, How To Find Your Mission In Life by Richard Bolles, Life Launch by Hudson and McLean . . . the theme being that if you knew what you were meant to do in the world, you would have a purpose, which leads to fulfillment, happiness, and good relationships.

How do we figure out our purpose? Look at your natural talents and interests, the books say. Many include self-assessments to help you figure out what you love, just in case you don’t know anymore.

When children start school they bring their natural talents and gifts with them. Instead of encouraging these, the first thing we do is teach them to put their interests on hold. We begin early the process of hiding the clues, the keys to our adult lives. We begin attaching labels: slow, average, ADD, LD . . . Years later the potential scientists or artists or teachers have the seeds buried so deeply they can no longer remember what set them on fire. And they need a book or a therapist to help them rediscover who they are.

I have a sign in my office that reads, “It is better to build children than repair adults.”

We need to pay attention to the child who needs to drum on the desk, the one who memorizes better when shooting baskets, the one who is interested in rocks. We need to stop labeling children as dysfunctional and start labeling the positives: keeps excellent rhythm, very coordinated, a whiz at the computer, great rapport with animals, natural comedian! Children who grow up learning about their own talents and styles become confident adults who achieve dreams and are enthusiastic about lifelong learning.

Remember the old saying, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”? We can give children the right start by respecting each one’s unique learning needs. For those of us who are already grown up, see you at the bookstore!

Mega Successful Entrepreneurs Who Dropped out of High School and College and look at them now...

By Cindy Holbrook - Confidence & Empowerment Coach
Are you holding back from starting your dream business because of education? Do you think no one will listen to you or take you seriously unless you have a college degree or at least a high school diploma?

While education can be a good thing IT IS NOT a prequisite for you to be a successful entrepreneur and to have a thriving business.

"I have nothing against education. But at times, education gives people false confidence. It makes people relax, trusting in the power of their certificates rather than in working hard." – Rasaq Okoya

Successful Entrepreneurs: High School Drop Outs

Richard Branson is the founder of Virgin and its 360 companies including Virgin Atlantic Airways. He dropped out of high school at the age of 16 to start his first successful business, Student Magazine.
"A business has to be involving, it has to be fun, and it has to exercise your creative instincts."

Ingvar Kamprad founder of IKEA dropped out of high school when he was 17. IKEA is the top home furniture retailer in the world with over 90,000 employees.
"The word impossible has been and must remain deleted from our dictionary."

Carl Lindner founder of United Dairy Farmers dropped out of high school at the age of 14 to help run the family's ice-cream store. Today his assets are greater than 14-billion. He generously contributes to charities.
"I like to do my giving while I'm living so I'm knowing where it's going."

George Foreman won a gold medal in the 1968 Olympics. He has launched a line of environmentally safe cleaning products and has been a spokesperson for a variety of big name brands. He dropped out of school at 15.
"That's my gift. I let that negativity roll off me like water off a duck's back. If it's not positive, I didn't hear it."

Simon Cowell dropped out of high school at the age of 16. He has founded his own music company, Fanfare Records, is the creator of American Idol and has become a giant in the music industry.
"My attitude is, if someone's going to criticize me, tell me to my face."

Successful Entrepreneurs: College Drop Outs

Bill Gates co-founder of Microsoft Corporation dropped out of Harvard to focus on building his business.
"If you give people tools, [and they use] their natural ability and their curiosity, they will develop things in ways that will surprise you very much beyond what you might have expected."

Michael Dell
founder of Dell Computers Inc. dropped out of college at the age of 19 to start his business. Dell is the most profitable PC manufacturer in the world.
"The idea of being all things to all people is a thing of the past,"

Debbi Fields founder of Mrs. Fields Cookies received a high school diploma but never attended college. She had not formal business experience and was 20 years old when she began her company.
"What I wanted was to be allowed to do the thing in the world that I did best -- which I believed then and believe now is the greatest privilege there is. When I did that success found me."

Wayne Huizenga built three Fortune 1000 companies: Waste Management Inc, Blockbuster Entertainment and AutoNation. He dropped out of college to begin a garbage collection business. He is a former owner of the Miami Dolphins.
"Despite winning the world championship, it has not altered the reality of the situation."

Mark Zuckerberg founder of Facebook dropped out of Harvard to promote it. As of 2010 he was 23 years old and worth Four-Billion, the youngest billionaire in the world.
"There's lots of stuff none of us have ever seen before. That's good in some ways, but limiting in other ways."

Lastly consider these successful entrepreneurs who never stepped foot inside of a school. They had NO formal education whatsoever:

Mary Kay Ash, the founder of Mary Kay Inc. She is known as the most outstanding business woman in the 20th century.
"When you reach an obstacle, turn it into an opportunity. You have the choice. You can overcome and be a winner, or you can allow it to overcome you and be a loser. The choice is yours and yours alone. Refuse to throw in the towel. Go that extra mile that failures refuse to travel. It is far better to be exhausted from success than to be rested from failure."

Andrew Carnegie the founder of Carnegie Steel Company. He was born in abject poverty and became one of the richest men that ever lived.
"People who are unable to motivate themselves must be content with mediocrity, no matter how impressive their other talents."
and
"There is little success where there is little laughter."

Stating you can't succeed because you don't have the education is a limiting belief that is a crutch, and excuse to keep you stuck right where you are at.

Step out of your comfort zone today and sign up for the Winning Entrepreneurs Master Mind Group where you will obtain the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.
